Furō brought the energy, speed and adrenaline of Formula 1 to Grafana Observability Day 2025 and it quickly became one of the standout experiences of the entire event. Designed to showcase the power of real-time observability, our custom-built F1 Simulation wasn’t just entertainment; it was a live, immersive demonstration of how engineering teams can turn high-velocity telemetry into insight, action and performance.
Our simulation streamed real-time data directly into Grafana dashboards, giving attendees a hands-on look at how modern observability tooling handles speed, load and rapid decision-making. From latency tracking to spike detection and performance tuning, guests experienced observability the way it should be: fast, visual and deeply intuitive.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing our Technical Director, Hung Dinh, speak on the engineering panel. Hung shared practical insights on:
The future of real-time observability across APAC
How modern engineering teams can operationalise OpenTelemetry
Best practices for improving developer experience through platform engineering
The shift from reactive monitoring to proactive observability
His perspective, grounded in years of DevOps, Cloud and Security leadership, resonated strongly with engineering leaders looking to modernise their practices.

Bringing the F1 Simulation to life was a full team collaboration. From the engineers who built it to those who supported the setup and ran the experience on the day, the event reflected the strength and spirit of the Furō team working together.
Thank you, Grafana, for hosting such an exceptional event. Grafana Observability Day continues to raise the bar for technical depth, community connection, and industry leadership, and we’re proud to have been part of it again this year. We’re excited to continue collaborating with a partner as innovative and forward-thinking as Grafana - working together to help engineering teams across APAC build stronger, more observable, and more resilient systems.

Our Ongoing Mission:
Across Australia and New Zealand, Furō continues to support organisations in modernising their engineering foundations through:
Observability platform design (Grafana, Honeycomb, OpenTelemetry)
SRE uplift and modern incident response
Cost optimisation, sampling strategies and telemetry governance
Platform engineering and frictionless developer experience
Full-stack observability maturity assessments
Managed observability services and on-call enablement
Events like Grafana Observability Day allow us to share these capabilities in ways that are interactive, memorable and meaningful.
